Halloween is quite possibly my favorite holiday. Not because I can send my kids out to collect a smorgasbord of chocolate that I will keep in my locker and ration out so they don't overeat, but I do. It is more than that. It's the time that I have the chance to be who ever society will not let me be on any other day. I can be the degenerate, any other day I would be banished to hell for acting like one. I can be Marilyn Monroe, any other day I'd be a whory schizo. Schizo was kind of fun with Billy Bob teeth. It's the whole package. It's the scary movies, haunted houses, and true ghost stories. Mostly it is the fond memories of Halloween past with friends. No haunted house could match up to the one my friend Allison's brother worked at when we were in High School. He taunted us the whole way through with the big scary voice and had his friends grabbing our ankles in the dark. She was so scared she ripped my shirt. Ahh, those were the days.
