Shameful Little Mermaid

You might remember way back when the Little Mermaid Movie came out, there was some hype about a phalicy hidden in the picture on the cover. I had never seen it and didn't really spend the time to find it on my VHS copy either. Well I was gathering up my VHS movies today to list on Ebay and decided to see if I could find a pic on the internet. Is was easy since I am the Google queen. Guess what, my copy has the unchanged phalacy. Guess I am keeping it as a collector. :)

www.freestufftimes.com

Check it out. I've gotten free tacos, icecream, and supposedly a $20 Starbuck's card is in the mail.

Button, button, who's got the button?

I've got it! In fact over 400. Some shell, glass, bakelite, plastic, etc. I counted and sorted a jar of buttons this morning that I bought at a yardsale for 25 cents. We'll see how they do on Ebay. I will start them out at $4.99.

Only in Idaho

Recently broadcast on a local radio station, a northern Idaho 3rd grade teacher was preparing her class for a standard exam. She was shocked when 67% of the class gave the same wrong answer.
The question was, "Name the seasons in any order."
The correct answer, *Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall*
The majority of the class all said, *Salmon, Deer, Elk and Duck* Duh!!

Free Food-Quiznos

If you have a Quiznos nearby (and a printer), go to http://www.millionsubs.com/ and sign up before it's too late to get a free small sub. Thanks to Yardsale Queen's Blog where I read about the Free Quizno's link. Quiznos is giving away a million subs and the promo will probably be over within a day or so. The coupon is good for 5 days after you print it.

Deals Discovered This Morning

I stopped by Winco this morning downtown and the vine ripe tomatoes on the vine are, as of this morning, 98cents a pound! WOW! Also the Hamburger Helper Twin Pack is 98cents too! That's like 49cents a box!! Find some coupons and it is less. I stopped on the way home so was not prepared. I know Hamburger Helper is bad for you, but in a pinch, it's a good thing :) When I got home I opened up the paper and Kmart is doing double manufacturer coupons up to $2. You can use 25 at a time. Good thing I called my mom about Kmart, she doesn't get the ad in her paper. More later when I do my shopping.
